A simple yet graceful ceremony was held to perform the ground breaking of Falcons’ Trust School at Naltar on 19th May, 2017. Air Chief Marshal (Retd) Tahir Rafiq Butt was the chief guest on the occasion.
After the recitation from Holy Quran, Gp Capt (Retd) Zahid Farooq, Director Operations PLP Trust, briefed the audience about the events leading to this historical day followed by the Project architect who flashed salient features of the school building. Air Marshal Asad Lodhi, VCAS, PAF, then addressed the gathering and later invited ACM (Retd) Tahir Rafiq Butt to unveil the commemorative plaque.
The former CAS, while speaking to the gathering, explained his vision about the formation of Falcons’ Remote Areas Development Trust and also thanked the PAF for all its support for the project. He stressed on the locals to own the project and contribute in any little way they could. The locals heartily applauded and sincerely voiced their commitment to work for the project.
The ceremony concluded with offering “Sadqa” and prayers for the success and speedy completion of the project. The Chief Guest then performed the actual ground breaking at the site marked for the school.
